Michael is the editor-in-chief at Marathon Handbook. He's been covering the running world for over a decade, has covered Kipchoge's Breaking2, the Barkley Marathons, and reported on power and abuse in Olympic sport. He's based in Toronto, and "enjoys" running the marathon.
Alex is a former collegiate runner turned marathon-curious track runner. He's tested pretty much every shoe on the market, and likes to chat about them on the Marathon Handbook YouTube channel. He's also a freelance journalist who reports on a wide variety of subjects for major publications. He's based in Toronto.
Jessy has been active her whole life, competing in cross-country, track running, and soccer throughout her undergrad. She pivoted to road cycling after completing her bachelor of kinesiology with nutrition from Acadia University. Jessy is currently a professional road cyclist living and training in Spain.
Katelyn is an experienced ultra-marathoner with a passion for the trails. In the running community, she is known for her ear-to-ear smile, even under the toughest racing conditions. She is a UESCA-certified running coach and loves sharing her knowledge and experience to help people reach their goals and become the best runners they can be. She grew up in Newton, Mass., just as the Boston Marathon gets really tough, and now runs on trails near her home in San Jose, Costa Rica.
